When a person becomes a Christ-Follower, they begin a journey. Our goal at Lifehouse Church is to equip every believer with the tools necessary to not only mature in their faith, but also to fulfill their God-given destiny! For that reason, we’ve developed a 3-phase discipleship program for those who wish to deepen their walk with God.
For more information on any of the programs below, download a Discipleship Map or email info@lifehousechurcheast.org.
CONNECT: When you first become a believer or attend Lifehouse for the first time, we know you have questions. We hope that you’ll take advantage of the opportunities below to get connected and get your questions answered!
- Starting Point meets in the lobby immediately following each service. Our pastors would love to meet you in person, give you a gift, and share some quick info about Lifehouse.
- Beginner’s Faith meets Mondays 7 pm in local homes. For new Christ-followers or those looking for solid spiritual groundwork, we encourage them to join the study on the “Journey of a Disciple.”
- Life Groups are a great way to get connected with new friends and get some spiritual food during the week. Browse open groups HERE.
- Volunteering is an easy way to make good use of your time and talents while connecting with new friends and opportunities at Lifehouse. Everyone has something to offer! Browse open volunteer positions HERE.
COMMIT: Once you’ve developed a strong relationship worth keeping, it’s time to commit. If you’d like to make Lifehouse your church family or simply want more spiritual foundation, consider these options:
- Life Commitments is an exciting 8-week discipleship course that teaches commitment to God and commitment to the body of Christ (the church). We believe the church is a family; and it takes commitment to build a strong family. The course is an interactive teaching with video illustrations, gifts assessment tests, and plenty of group discussions. The process concludes with an overnight retreat, where students are given the opportunity to deepen relationships with others in the class, review the material, and allow each person to individually experience God’s presence in a life transforming way. After completion of the course, individuals are given the opportunity to become a “Ministry Partner.” Enroll by completing the Life Commitments Registration.
- Equipping Life Group Leaders is a seminar offered each quarter for those interested in Leadership roles over Life Groups or other ministries. The training is offered in two 4-hour sessions and covers topics like “Living Your Strengths,” “How to Facilitate,” and much more.
COMMISSION: Though not everyone is called to vocational ministry, many individuals are passionate and gifted leaders, facilitators, and teachers. For that reason, our School of Ministry is an internship process available for those seeking pastoral-level training to enhance themselves as a Life Group leader, Ministry Leader, or Church Planter.

- The Church Planter’s Institute is a one-year program that utilizes course work, seminars, and close mentorship to prepare a minister to plant a church. Once complete, the individual may apply for the position of a “Church Planting Intern.” (Graduation of the Ministry Institute is a prerequisite for admission.)
