Missions Support

The great cause of the Bible is found in Matthew 22:37 and Matthew 28:19. The church exists to reach up in worship to God, to reach in to care for one another, and reach out to change the world. Missions are the third focus of this great cause; it includes all local outreaches and international missionaries.

Local outreaches include events like holiday festivals, kids camps, community service projects, and neighborhood evangelism. All of these efforts have one goal in mind: to reach our community with the message and hope of Jesus Christ. Our prayer everyday is, “Father, may what we do today matter for eternity so that heaven is populated differently because we got out of bed!”

International Missions: Missionaries do not receive a livelihood from their ministry efforts, but instead are financially and spiritually supported by family, friends and churches. We encourage members to donate towards missionaries by including a missions offering in their weekly tithing envelope. We also encourage Lifehousers to attend overseas missions trips, as they are able. Every year we partner with other area churches to coordinate trips throughout the world.
