PASTORAL TEAM:
Lead Pastor: Patrick & Laura Grach
Patrick is the founding and lead pastor of Lifehouse Church. While God laid this church-planting vision on Patrick’s heart in college, the process finally began in 2003 when he and Laura transitioned from a West Virginia youth/college ministry to Hagerstown, MD to begin Lifehouse Church.
While Patrick and Laura are both originally from New York (“Go Yankees!”), they have lived in Maryland since 1999. Laura and Patrick graduated from Zion Bible College with BAs in Biblical Studies. Patrick went on to get his MA in Counseling from Regent University. After their graduations and 5 1/2 years of dating, they finally got married and began ministry together.
They have three daughters: Rebecca, Carissa, and Bethany. Laura holds down the fort while Patrick does whatever he can to hold on to any semblance of manhood: fishing, hiking, golfing, softball, or watching any epic war movie. He’s not afraid to talk about any subject and keeps everything practical, relevant, and humorous.
Campus Pastor: Brian and Cindy Linn
Brian hails locally from Williamsport MD. Being a Hagerstown native, Brian remembers swim lessons at the old “Y” on Potomac, when the Mall had an “upstairs,” and when the place to be was Leitersburg Cinemas (and it still is!).
In 1995, he left the Hagerstown region to attend Valley Forge Christian College just outside Philly where he majored in Youth Ministry. There he met his future, Cindy, from Baldwinsville, NY. Though it took 5 years, Brian was able to win Cindy’s heart, and in 2001, they were married.
Brian and Cindy have served in as Youth Pastors in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. In 2007, God led them back to Hagerstown and to Lifehouse Church where they served as young adult ministry leaders, hospitality directors, and outreach directors. In September of 2010, the Linns joined the Pastoral Team as Executive Pastors, and in 2012, branched out as Campus Pastors over Lifehouse Church Saturday. “There is nothing we want more than to see every person live their God given destiny.”
When not at church, there is nothing Brian and Cindy would rather do than spend time with their two boys, Brayden and Ethan. Whether the family is out for a walk, at one of Brayden’s soccer games, or just watching a movie at home – being together is what’s most important.
Associate Pastor: Dave & Jenn Johnson
Dave and Jenn met as counselors at a youth camp in Pennsylvania and were married 11 months later in 1996. Together, they have served as youth pastors in PA, junior high pastors in WV, and senior pastors in Oakland, MD. They moved to Hagerstown in 2005 from Morgantown, WV to become the Youth Pastors at Lifehouse Church. They have since transitioned to oversee multiple ministries as Associate Pastors. Dave and Jenn are both credentialed ministers, and “enjoy ministering to the church with all our heart. We love being part of Lifehouse Church!”
Dave is currently a 7th grade math teacher in the magnet program at Springfield Middle School in Williamsport. He holds a BA in Math Education, BS in Mathematics from Fairmont State University, and a BA in Youth Ministry and Bible from Central Bible College. He is also a graduate student at Hood College seeking his Masters in Math Education. Dave loves to play drums, cook, golf, kayak, and root for his NY Yankees and Giants.
Jenn is a trainer at Citi Mortgage in Frederick, MD. She has worked in the banking industry for six years as a personal banker, sales coach, and trainer. Jenn is from Pittsburgh, PA and attended North Central University in Minneapolis, MN. She enjoys running, baking, reading, and cheering for the Steelers.
More than anything, Dave and Jenn love being mom and dad to their two kids, Kaila and Dylan. Kaila plays flute, drums, and soccer while Dylan is into soccer and video games. They both love to bring their friends to Lifehouse Church to be part of The Underground.
Creative Arts Pastor: Corey & Lauren Broadwater
Corey and Lauren both have a passion for worship and the creative arts. Corey has a major in graphic design and Lauren has an associate in visual arts and a BA in photography/computer digital imagery. Corey served on the adult worship team and led the youth worship at Bethel Assembly of God for 5 years before having the opportunity to step in and oversee worship & arts at Lifehouse Church. “We have a heart for worship, whether that be musically, physically, spiritually, or artistically.”
On another note, they love to do just about everything under the sun. “So if you want to get together and grab some Chinese food (our favorite, just so you know) and be spontaneous, hit us up! We’d love to just hang out.”
Congregational Pastor: Joe & Lois Quesenberry
Joe and Lois married in 1958 and have enjoyed 50+ years of marriage thus far. They have also been in the pastoral ministry for over 50 years. They have 3 children and 11 grandchildren. Their oldest son, Jonathan, is planting a church near Charlottesville, VA. Their second son, Paul, is a family practice doctor in Chambersburg, PA. Their daughter, Diana, is a paramedic and drives a “chase car” in Frederick County, MD.
Joe graduated with a Bachelor of Divinity from Bethany Theological Seminary in Chicago, IL, and Lois graduated from Towson University, Baltimore, MD with a Masters in Music Education.
They have always loved people and thoroughly enjoy Pastoral ministry. Joe and Lois say they, “count it a privilege to serve at Lifehouse Church with all of the leadership there.”
Discipleship Pastor: Ron & Ruthie Wienke
Ron and Ruthie were married in 1968. They have two children, Kim and Shane, as well as two grandchildren, Kiersten & AJ.
Ron and his wife Ruthie began their ministry life in Hawaii helping plant two new churches. They later served two years as Missionary Associates at Rancho de Sus Ninos, an orphanage in Tecate, Mexico. There, Ruthie worked with the daycare program while Ron established and taught in the International Bible School. In over 30 years of ministry, they have served as pastors in both small traditional churches as well as in a large progressive church.
Ron retired from the full-time pastorate in 2008, and then resumed ministry as a short-term pastor in Gore, VA. He currently serves as Discipleship Pastor at Lifehouse Church, developing training programs for future leaders and church planters.
Children’s Pastor: Rich & Lori Vieira
Rich and Lori have four children: Josh, Abby, Ben and Gracie. Rich hails from the Boston area and adamantly opposes Pastor Pat’s Yankees (“Go Red Soxs!”). Lori is content to cheer as loud as possible for any team her husband is with, either the Red Sox or Lifehouse Church softball.
Rich graduated from Regent University Law School in 2005 with a JD, and opened a settlement company in Hagerstown, Premier Title and Settlements.
Lori has served in several positions as a children’s pastor and has built our dynamic children’s program from the ground up.
Life Group & Assoc. Worship Pastor: Jason & Amanda Stagno
Jason grew up in Glen Burnie, MD. In 2004, he graduated from UMBC, married Amanda, and moved to Irvine, California for graduate school. Jason obtained his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the University of California, Irvine in 2009, at which point he and his family moved back to Maryland and found their home at Lifehouse Church. Jason is currently a postdoctoral fellow and research scientist at the National Cancer Institute, NIH, and also serves as a volunteer policy analyst for the National Science Advisory Board for Biosecurity.
As Associate Worship Pastor, Jason assists in scheduling, organizing and leading the worship team. As Life Group Pastor, Jason’s team includes coaches and life-group leaders who host and facilitate small-groups throughout the week as an extension of Sunday-morning gatherings. He also writes the weekly sermon-series study guides, which are used by several Life Groups as a curriculum for study. In addition to caring for their 3 children (Solomon, Charlotte, and Naomi), his wife, Amanda leads “Moms Rock,” which is a weekly Life Group designed for stay-at-home moms.
